You'll see a unique region, with Beautiful nature, good food & tradition.
It’s a perfect hub to visit the area. so make sure you rent a car.
Breakfast is not included, for restaurants: Imari City or Onsen with many outside baths and dinner options.
The space
Welcome to our charming 100-year-old traditional Kominka, with a spacious 180 m2 spread over 2 floors. We offer a cozy private Guest bedroom that's 8 tatamis in size (carpet), perfect for friends, family, and couples - accommodating up to 6 guests with the additional available extra Single bedroom. (If it is your case, ask me so I can prepare the place accordingly)
Rest assured, during your stay, it will be just you, your friends, your group, or your family in the house. The only other person you will meet is myself at the check-in time, showing you around for a quick tour.
This room comes equipped with a double bed, a sofa bed, a single bed, and a futon(when/if needed). It's connected to a Kitchenette for your convenience. It is equipped with a small but good-sized fridge, a microwave, and a coffee machine to enhance your stay. Additionally, you can also store your luggage during your visit.
Not a Ryokan, we do not provide dinner, no breakfast, no Pyjamas.
Since March 2024, we are now welcoming the new Digital Nomad visa holder for longer stay period also, contact us for more.
Our cafe is rarely open and usually on Mondays for reserved lunch groups only(11:30-13:30).
Our Lodge offers a comfortable and cozy atmosphere where you can truly immerse yourself in the ambiance of a rural Japanese village. It's a place where tranquility reigns, with the gentle sound of wind chimes, a relaxing vibe, a sense of time slipping by, the peacefulness of the evening, and the soothing Sound of Silence.
Not to mention the stunning sunsets and numerous picturesque walks right on our doorstep.
There's a treasure trove of beautiful places to explore within a 35 km radius, which is why we highly recommend renting a car to make the most of your visit.
As a traditional wooden house surrounded by nature, and an old house, isolation is not perfect, especially in Summer and winter, we have all you need for a good comfort with heaters or Air conditioners. Since we are in a mountain area with the climate that means you might occasionally encounter the presence of insects, spiders...that's life around here:) We provide sprays you may need for your convenience. Welcome to Japan:)
Check-out is at 11:00 am, but you can leave your car at the guest parking up to 13:30.
Other things to note:
The village is wonderfully tranquil, and it's worth noting that there are no shops, restaurants, or bars in the immediate vicinity. However, you can easily find these amenities in Imari City, which is just a short 4-kilometer drive away.
We'd like to suggest checking out Imari Yutoku Onsen, which is about 3.5 kilometers from here. They offer both indoor and outdoor baths for ¥800 per person or ¥1,000 if you'd like to enjoy a delicious meal as well!
Imari City also boasts some delightful dining and drinking spots, and we'd be happy to make some recommendations for you. You can easily purchase your breakfast items from a "nearby" convenience store.
When you're ready to head back from Imari, you have the option to use a regular taxi.
DO NOT drink alcohol if you drive, there is 0 tolerance, your permit will be remove right away. Instead use the DaiKo service which will bring both you and your car back for just ¥2,000.
We've recently added a convenient kitchenette and storage space connected to your room, complete with a microwave, coffee machine, and a generously sized fridge.
Should you choose to have breakfast in the lounge area, please be mindful of keeping it clean at check out.
We also offer a picnic area, a charming front garden, and a terrace where you could enjoy eating outside or buy Instant barbecue set at most supermarket during the season.
