Summary: Our stay at La Choza was perfect in every way. We had six adults on our trip and the house had ample bedrooms and bathrooms, although we spent the majority of our time on the massive porch or by the swimming pool. The spacious kitchen was also more than adequate for our needs. A few of us in the group have traveled to Playa Negra many times and we all agreed that La Choza was the best property we have ever stayed in. The house is comfortable, the landscaping is exquisite, and the location is the best. Being just steps away from the beach and Hotel Playa Negra is ideal. The check-in/check-out procedure was easy with the help of the property manager Carla. She went above and beyond to help our group with massage appointments, dinner recs, and various other questions. Carla is an absolute expert in that area of Costa Rica and always was quick to answer questions. We will definitely plan a trip back to La Choza again!!
