Explore Lisbon from this carefully decorated top floor apartment with elevator in Campo de Ourique. This safe and quiet neighborhood is most popular with Lisboners and well connected by public transportation, including the famous 28 tram that crosses the old city hills.
With everything at hand, this 140sqm / 1500 sq ft family apartment is prepared to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible
Lower floor:
- The DINING AND LIVING ROOM with AC and cable TV is complimented by a sunny balcony towards the back.
- In the fully renovated and equipped KITCHEN with a breakfast table you will find quality coffee and tea. Dishwasher, laundry machine and detergents. Iron and iron board. Kitchen essentials provided.
- All three BEDROOMS enjoy a small balcony facing the street. Two have built-in wardrobes and one a free-standing rail. Roller-shutters allow total blackout, if desired. Electric heaters (winter). Quality pillows, towels and bed linens are provided for every guest.
- The BATHROOM has natural light, a tub with a shower rail and good water pressure. Bidet, toilet. Marble vanity top and shaving / makeup mirror. Quality amenities are provided.
- The HALLWAY is spacious and has a large coat rack with umbrella stand.
Upper floor:
- On the top of the stairs you will find a lofty and spacious ATTIC with cable TV and a choice of books about Portugal and Lisbon for relaxing at the end of the day. There is a good desk and chair if you need to work in tranquility while your family is downstairs. Electric heater (winter).
INTERNET:
WIFI (500 MB / s) works great in the entire apartment. Ethernet connection is also possible.

CHILDREN:
The staircase to the upper floor and the balconies require that parents closely watch over their children.

Elevator Very easy access, just two small steps in front of the door of the building.
LOCATION:
Campo de Ourique offers you both the enriching experience of living like a local and an excellent location to visit all the landmarks of the city.
Campo de Ourique is a residential neighborhood with plenty of local commerce. Located in a high point of Lisbon, it borders the Amoreiras, Estrela and Prazeres neighborhoods. Built from the late 19th century on, Ourique Field has regular blocks, fairly flat and easy walking streets.
In immediate walking distance you will find excellent restaurants and cafes, super markets, fine grosseries and wine shops, take-away options, pharmacies, ATMs, a taxi stand, post office and more. Mulberry Shopping Center with further choice of quality boutiques and 360 degree view over Lisbon is 15 minutes walk away.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:
Tram (28, 25), Bus (701, 709 and 774)
Nearest Metro station is Mouse (10-15 minute walk)
TAXI:
A taxi to the airport will take about 20 minutes outside rush hour.
There is a taxi stand one block away.
CAR:
With easy access to the 25th April Bridge and the highways leading to Sintra, Estoril and Cascais, the apartment makes a great base for exploring the region by car.
Street parking is payed: Monday-Friday: from 9 am to 7 pm; Saturday and Sunday: free.
There is a nearby gas station and a car park (Campo de Ourique Market).
HOUSE RULES
Check In / Check Out:
Check in is after 3PM and check out untill 11AM. Upon availability, I can be flexible, but only upon prior confirmation. There are no additional check-in fees.
City tax:
A city tax of EUR 2 per night is charged to all guests over the age of 13 for a maximum of 7 nights. It is not included in the total price and must be paid in cash (euros) during check-in.
Identification:
Under Portuguese law short term rentals must report ID details of all guests staying at the Immigration and Borders Service (SEF, aka Aliens and Borders Service). You will be asked this information prior to arrival along with check in time and other details. Your documentation must also be verified during check-in. No unidentified people can stay in the apartment.
Tuxedo / vaping:
Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside the whole apartment (including outdoor areas) and building. Please understand that you will have to go to the street to smoke or vape.
Cleaning:
The apartment is cleaned and prepared for each new guest. For stays longer than seven days, a mid-stay cleaning will be performed and bed linens and towels changed. Every guest is obliged to respect and leave the apartment in good condition.
Security:
Please ensure that all windows and the apartment door are closed and locked whenever you exit the apartment. Please also ensure that the building door is closed when you exit the building.
The apartment keys may not be passed on to outsiders. If you loose the keys you will be charged for new locks and their installation.
We are:
This is a quiet residential building. Noise is forbidden between 10pm and 8am. During this period please carry your bags and close the door quietly whenever entering or leaving the apartment / bulding. House parties and events are strictly forbidden at all times.
Extra guests:
Strictly no day or overnight guests unless they are included in the booking or previously approved by me.
Pets:
Strictly not allowed.
If you are not comfortable with any of the above rules please do not book. The break of any rule will result in expulsion from the apartment.
Please treat the apartment with the same respect you would treat your own home. You are ultimately liable for the full cost of any loss or damage caused during your stay by any of the guests, whether they are adult or children.
