Peacefully tucked away in a heavenly pocket of West Sussex countryside, these TWO exceptional holiday homes offer a magical retreat for up to eight people. Nest Lodge, a 3 bedroom property sleeping 6 guests and Nest Cottage, a 1 bedroom property sleeping 2 additional guests make up Nest Stay. Nest Stay is a sanctuary tucked into the South Downs, with the undulating hills and patchwork fields nearby offering some of the most exquisite landscapes in the country to be enjoyed from the house.
Please note: This property is in a very quiet area and loud groups are not appropriate at this location. Please also note that the owner's very friendly and sweet Jack Russell dog may pay you a visit as he lives on the grounds, so for those with allergies or fears of dogs, this may not be the ideal stay for you.

Pulborough is nestled into the South Downs National Park just 5 miles from Petworth; 17 miles from Chichester and 9 miles from the historic town of Arundel in West Sussex. The coast is just 20-minutes away by car where you’ll find sandy beaches at Climping and Littlehampton, or the Rive Arun runs closer to home for fishing, canoeing and paddle boarding.
Within Pulborough itself there are some beautiful woodland and countryside walks which are signposted just a short walk from the house.
For lovers of fine wine, look no further than Nyetimber or Nutbourne vineyards where you can enjoy tours and tastings. Pair your wine with tender cuts of local meat or cheeses from Charlie’s Farm Shop in Fittleworth, all to be enjoyed at home for garden lunches or evening suppers.
Both Amberley Castle and Arundel Castle are open year-round for visitors and sit within a short drive of the house. Petworth House & Gardens or the Weald & Downland Living Museum at Singleton offer an equally beautiful and historic experience for all ages – all fewer than 10-miles away.
It is fairly essential to have a car in Pulborough as it is slightly tucked away from the main roads and stations. The nearest stations are in Pulborough and Arundel where you can call a local taxi to take you to the house. Castle Cars can also arrange to collect or take you to a nearby airport by prior arrangement.
Access to the property is via a smartlock system, giving convenience to arrive whenever suits you. Instructions will be sent 24 hours prior to your stay.

Go exploring on several local walks, mapped out by the owner, taking you through ancient woodland, along river paths or seeking out a country pub. Nip into the village of Pulborough or the county towns of Petworth and Arundel which host an array of historic pubs, shops and attractions, or take in a vineyard tour and tasting at the award-winning Nutbourne and Nyetimber Estates.

Nest Lodge, with space for 6, feels completely independent and private within its own floodlit Mediterranean garden. Several seating areas and a firepit offer the perfect spaces from which to enjoy the Downland vista framed by mature, specimen trees and architectural planting.
Fragrant lavender, wild flower meadows and olive trees form a glorious backdrop to the generous open plan living room and kitchen, where there is ample space for formal and informal dining around an oak-topped eating island, which can spill outside during the warmer seasons. For evenings in, there is a sumptuous sofa and a flat screen Smart TV with sound system and complementary WiFi for streaming movies.
The kitchen is well-equipped every appliance you could need to whip up a delicious meal. On the ground floor, there are two comfortable double bedrooms for two; one double and one twin. These rooms share use of a beautifully appointed family shower room adorned with fluffy towels and the blissful scents of Ortigia Italian luxury soaps.
The epitome of luxury, the principal bedroom suite spans the first floor with French doors opening to a romantic balcony where views over the South Downs are truly breathtaking. Inside, the open plan living room offers ample space for dining and relaxation. There is a flat screen TV and DVD player here and during the cooler seasons, you can light the open fire; adding warmth and atmosphere to wintery evenings and suppers. The kitchenette is well-equipped with everything you should you need too.
The bedroom boasts a luxurious king size bed with a spectacular view of the garden outside. Up a step through double doors, the beautifully appointed bathroom offers a contemporary freestanding bathtub and a skylight allowing you to stargaze as you bathe in a sea of fragrant bubbles.
