IDEAL CENTRAL LOCATION: We're midway between Mill Valley downtown (1/2 mile walk); trails to Mt. Tam (3/4 mile), Cascade Falls (1.4 miles); Muir Woods (4 miles); Golden Gate Bridge/San Francisco (8 miles); Muir Beach (6.6 miles) & Napa wine country (probably 100 wineries within an hour of us).
THE SPACE:
This is an attached in-law unit on the end of a large house. You have your own private entrance & have two private parking spaces. Once you enter the unit, the primary bedroom w/ a daybed that makes into a king bed is located to your right. Upstairs, you will find a large studio w/ a queen bed, a small but complete kitchen (apt sized frig, countertop oven, single burner hotplate, blender, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, etc.), living area w/65” HDTV, a queen sleeper sofa, and a full bathroom. Outside there is a small private deck with a BBQ and a firepit.
Please note that you have to go into the studio in order to get to the bathroom. So the studio does not have complete privacy from the primary bedroom if the people in the primary bedroom need to use the bathroom. The bathroom does have a tub/shower.
We provide K-cups and complimentary chocolate and a bottle of wine (or sparkling cider if you prefer).
PEACEFUL SECLUSION IN NATURE: Nestled on a little over an acre so there are no close neighbors. There are dozens of redwoods & a seasonal creek on the property. Deer come by daily. No worries about parking as we have our own off-street parking.
TESLA CHARGER: Tesla charger available upon request (you must let us know before arrival)..
WHOLE HOUSE GENERATOR: We are not affected by power outages.
TANKLESS HOT WATER HEATER: Unlimited hot water for even the largest families.
HIGH SPEED 1 Gig FIBER WIFI. Both TVs are set up to stream Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Apple & HBO.
ONSITE ASSISTANCE: Owners are on site in the main house. We are here to assist you & interact w/ you if you desire. Conversely, we respect your privacy & are happy to leave you alone if you desire.

Parking can be tough to find on most residential streets in Mill Valley. Fortunately, you have your own private parking spaces at the end of our driveway. And they are directly in front of the steps that lead to the entrance to your unit. There is space for two vehicles to park side-by-side.
From our house it is only a 1/2 mile walk or 1 mile drive to downtown Mill Valley. Mill Valley was ranked #4 in best small towns in America by Smithsonian Magazine. Easily walk to dozens of shops, restaurants, live entertainment, movie theatre, redwood groves and more.

Host has been a trail runner for 30 years and can provide information on Mt. Tamalpais and the Dipsea trail.
