About 20 miles to Boone, 8 miles to West Jefferson, and less than 7 miles to Jefferson, this cabin is convenient to many amenities and fun things to do in the High Country. Some local attractions in Ashe County include golf at Jefferson Landing, a walking mural tour in Downtown West Jefferson, a vibrant farmers market in season, cheese factory tours, and local breweries to visit. There are many fun activities near Jefferson and south toward Wilkesboro.
Guests can access the New River just 4 minutes away at the New River State Park and enjoy fishing, tubing, rafting, or getting their feet wet. Numerous areas are nearby to drop off your rafts and friends, take a vehicle to a pick-up spot a few miles away, and spend an afternoon rafting down the New River.
