Positive: The property was clean, and hot water was available throughout my stay. I had communicated with the owner several times before arrival and found them to be generally reasonable. However, one incident during the checkin significantly impacted my impression, which I’ve detailed below for Booking.com’s attention
Negative: When I arrived, the manager initially requested a payment that exceeded the amount stated on my Booking.com invoice. They attempted to include a commission fee that, according to the invoice, was clearly their responsibility. After I politely but firmly stated that I would only pay what I had agreed to, they retracted the demand for the additional charge. While the issue was resolved, the situation was disappointing and could have been avoided with more transparency
