This family seasonal home on the waterfront is secluded and serene. With direct waterfront and panoramic views, watch sloops sailing up and down the river, lobstermen pulling pots, even occasional seals leaping or sunning. Osprey routinely catch their dinner in the river. Some years, eagles nest at the top of an especially tall pine tree in view of the house.
Explore the clam flats at low tide. (Yes, there are steamer clams for the digging and clamming forks at the house if you've a mind to try.)
Walk, jog or ride your bike around the loop, a 3 or 4-mile circle of road around Stone's Point. Then relax on the screen porch with a book from a large collection throughout the house. Summary: What a great house and location! My family and I enjoyed our stay immensely. Sitting by the water at night with the firepit, enjoying the large, private lot and then relaxing by the fire in the living room at night. Sleeping at night with the windows wide open enjoying the fresh Maine seacoast air. The house is charming and great for a large family get together.
