Summary: So I’m a local, in fact I had an apartment about three blocks away for years, so I know the area and while I live just outside of New Orleans now, if I were to move to New Orleans permanently again, it would be in this neighborhood, albeit three or four blocks towards by Bayou Saint John. Perfect place to base camp for Jazz Fest as it’s an easy walk to the gate or for a race track weekend. It’s upstairs in a building that apparently has a hair salon and it’s small, but it was priced accordingly and everything was perfectly clean and easy to deal with.
