Positive: Great location, 5 minute walk to Union Station and across the street from El Pueblo Historic Plaza. 5 Minute walk to Chinatown and 10 minute walk to Little Tokyo. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The newer rooms are cozy enough.
Negative: The shower had no shelf or platform to lay my hygiene products while showering, like soap & shampoo. Make sure to ask to stay in the renovated rooms cause the old ones are beat down and ac is noisy.
Summary: Good location, rooms get job done.
