Positive: This timber framed building seems to have been built in the 1500s. The owner says she has lived there for 27 years and the whole house has been refurbished to a high standard. The room we stayed in was large and had lots of nice features like mullioned stone windows and an antique steamer trunk for a wardrobe. We only stayed one night to break our journey from the Pyrenees to St Malo for the ferry, we were made very welcome and the local restaurant which the owner suggested did an excellent evening meal.
Summary: Beautifully decorated and modernised old building with a welcoming owner.
