Summary: A fun and unique experience in Guadeloupe. We enjoyed the Creole style house with a view of the ocean and pool. We generally enjoyed the openness but, as others have said, you should bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper due to the evening noises from bugs, roosters, etc. Bug spray is helpful but the mosquito nets do a great job of keeping bugs away at night. The apartment is a short drive to the major beaches, restaurants, and some nice hikes. The apartment was generally clean. The pool was on the cold side this time of year but nice for a quick dip after a day in the sun. Julie provided some great recommendations for our stay and was very responsive.
