Summary: Very nicely located mountain casita. Easy check-in; Pamela gave us a great recommendation for a local car rental (Value Motors in Boquete - highly recommended - George was super helpful) and easy to follow directions to the casita. The place was exactly as advertised; lovely grounds and mountain views. A welcome bag of coffee from Pamala’s finca (on which the casita is located) was a nice touch. Easy access to Boquete; a 10 minute drive. Boquete has an amazing number of excellent restaurants that we took full advantage of. A gourmet lovers paradise at VERY affordable prices and variety. We hiked many nearby beautiful rainforest trails; they can be quite challenging as all are very steep and often narrow but the views are well worth the effort. Boquete has several local grocery stores (Super Baru is excellent and has wonderful fresh local produce) as well as one larger supermarket (Rey). The city of David, about 50 minutes south, has a very large supermarket (Rey) as well. We thoroughly enjoyed two months in the Panamá high country.
