The beach town deal and well-preserved medieval town Sandwich are within a 20 minutes’ drive. Canterbury and the resort of Margate easily accessible. There will be a battle to be the designated chef in the contemporary kitchen, with everything you could need to prepare delicious, home-cooked meals that will be sure to put a smile on everyone’s faces. Your group has the option to settle down for meals in the kitchen on 2 separate bar eating areas, or gather around the long table in the dining room to toast to a wonderful holiday in the most beautiful setting. Your party can enjoy a nightcap and continue the evening in the well-appointed gym with a treadmill , a rowing machine and exercise bike. When sleep calls, just choose one of the five bedrooms. Two boasting super king-size beds and three which have their own en-suite bathrooms. Each as beautifully decorated and furnished as the next. Completing one of the en-suite bathrooms is a giant twin bath, where you can pour in the bubbles and unwind before joining your party for an evening of fun and games.
The exquisite & large gardens were designed by the well-known gardener and author Anthony du Gard Pasley and have been noted by Dover council under the Historic Parks and Gardens. The views of sunset and the star gazing are magnificent. The birds, the wildlife and peace and quiet make this place a small paradise. There are plenty of walking paths in the area some starting within close proximity of the property.
You can enjoy a morning sunbathe on the sun loungers, enjoy your morning coffee on the outside garden swing and when you start to feel peckish, there is a convenient, large outdoor patio area where you can rustle up a meal at the round dining table under the pagoda or fry a supper on the barbecue.
Time for a swim or some relaxation? Just proceed to the secured pool and play area, where you can step straight into the all year round heated pool (29 degrees) or pamper yourself in the hot tub (heated up to 40 degrees) whilst your kids enjoy the play area.

Birnam is in the countryside but still ideally located so no amenity is too far. Drive the short distance to the local bakery, butcher, post office and grocery stores. For a larger selection continue to Sandwich where you will find shops & eateries to suit any taste and budget. Grab the kids buckets and spades and take a short drive to the uber-cool sandy beaches of Margate or Deal, which provide impressive views across the Kent coast. The children can enjoy making sandcastles, a paddle, or the delights of the play parks to the rear of the beaches. Spend a fun-filled day at the nearby seafront amusement park of Dreamland in Margate , where you can test your luck on the penny slots, challenge the little ones to a round of adventure golf, or soak in the captivating views across the water from the traditional carousel ride. For a change of scenery, head to the large Cathedral city of Canterbury, home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city is a melting pot for creativity with vibrant nightlife and a packed calendar of events for every age and every community all year round.
