Beau Maison is self contained village house located in a quaint cobbled street, a stone's throw from the beautiful Vienne river. The delightful house has a fully fitted compact kitchen with oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and coffee machine. Next door is a cosy living room with comfy sofa and chairs, a TV with French and English channels, DVD player and a selection of DVD's. The living room also a separate dining area with a table and chairs. There is also a walk in wet room on the ground floor as well as a washer/dryer for your use.
Upstairs there are three comfortable bedrooms, all with double bedrooms. Bedroom one has an en suite bathroom with large shower, toilet and wash basin. Bedroom two has access to the private screened garden with decked seating/dining area. Bedroom three has a double bed and is suitable for one person.
The house is a minute's walk to the Vienne river which is surrounded by beautiful countryside, perfect for anyone who enjoys outdoor activities. The river is popular for fishing and canoeing and further down the river at Queaux you can enjoy swimming and sunbathing at the man made beach. The are numerous hiking paths in the area as well as bike hire and horse riding. The very popular Val de Vienne race circuit is a five minute drive away, where there are regular classic car and motorcycle events.
Poitiers is approx. 45 minutes away and Limoges is approx. 1 hour away, both of these cities have an airport and railway station which have links to Europe and the UK.
