A wide variety of shops catering for everyone, also nearer is Cala Ferrera where there also a wide variety of shops and bars. The apartment is 10 minutes walking to centre Cala D´or.Cala Ferrera ,The area is make up of Calas (coves) Cala Ferrera, Cala Esmeralda, Cala Serena with sandy beaches and beautiful clear blue sea. Cala Ferrera is a great location for everyone. The Sunday morning market at Felanitx is recognised as being one of the best in Majorca. Also the fruit and produce markets at nearby Santanyi every Wednesday and Saturday mornings. A local bus can take you into Palma for the day and local car hire/money exchange places can organise trips to many of Mallorca's attractions. A day out to Aqualand one of the islands water parks is a great day for the children and adults alike.

Summary: All contact with Rubi has been excellent, during booking and once we arrived.Rubi met us, even though our flight was delayed and we did not arrive until about 11pm. We had absolutely no problems with the apartment, it has everything & more than you would want in a holiday apt. Hairdryer in bathroom is basic, cuts out but does work, think next time I will take my own. Plenty of towels, washing machine. View from the large balcony, equipped with table, chairs, 2 reclining chairs and a lounger, is really nice and you can sit and watch the boats come in and out. From the apt it is about 70+ steps down to the beach, there is a bar down there open during the day. We loved sitting watching all the comings & goings from the beach. The pool at the apartment has 20 sun beds and there was always availability while we were there in Sept. The pool got the sun from 9-7, suited us perfectly. We did not use the AC but it is available in the double bedroom and the sitting/ dining /kitchen area. There is plenty of wardrobe space & drawers for placing items away. Going down to the beach and up the stairs at the other side takes you straight into lots of restaurants and shops. You can go round by the road if stairs are not for you. We will visit again, as we really enjoyed our stay. Every time I walked into apt the view from the large patio doors always made me happy. The doors take up that whole wall.
