Light-filled, beautiful, newly remodeled 1700 sq ft house in a prime & very quiet location. With 3 spacious bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, washer/dryer, a fully stocked kitchen, standing desk with monitors, and large windows that offer views of the Cascades and Lake Washington, this home offers all the comforts you need for a home away from home.
Centrally located in Madison Valley, this home is just minutes away from the vibrant night life of Capitol Hill, Downtown, UW and Bellevue.
5 minute walk to trendy & vibrant Madison Valley, featuring a number of excellent restaurants, such as Voila bistrot, Harvest Vine & Cafe Flora.
The gorgeous 200-acre Arboretum park, with its famous Japanese garden, is just two blocks away.
The Pike/Pine/Broadway area of Capitol Hill with its busy night life is just a 20 mins walk away.
If you're driving, there's plenty of free parking on the street, and there's always a spot available just in front of the house. You'll be minutes away from Capitol Hill, downtown, and the University district.
Public transportation is also available a few blocks away, and city buses will get you downtown in 25 minutes; or to the Capitol Hill light rail station in 20, from where you can connect to the airport.
Please note that there is a separate unit in the basement, where I live about half the time.

Summary: Our stay was beautiful. The property has incredible views of Mount Rainier, Lake Washington, and the surrounding cities. We could watch fireworks from the property. Seattle was having a terrible heat wave. Without air conditioning the house was very very hot especially the upstairs. We appreciated the fans he provided. A few things of note. The listing states a “grill” as an amenity. It does not have one. There are cameras in all living spaces and hallways. We were not informed of this. After I booked and paid in full, I was informed that the owner would be living in the basement level and thus there were quite hours. Also, the property was listed as non smoking but the owner and his guest sat in the backyard and smoked which could be smelt strongly by us through the open windows due to the heat. The yard needs maintenance! It is very wild and overgrown.
