Ancien moulin en pierres au bord d'une rivière "le largue" dans le parc du luberon. Bâtisse du 17e siècle entièrement rénovée divisée en deux gîtes autonomes et indépendants de 80 m2 chacun pouvant être communiquants si nécessaire. Dans un cadre bucolique près d'un centre équestre en pleine campagne, sur 1hect de terres. Très calme et ensoleillé à 5 min d'un beau village provençal perché, avec bistrot de pays, poste, épicerie...à 8 min du village de saint Michel l'observatoire, son centre d'astronomie et ses commerces.
Le gite aménagé avec goût comporte 2 chambres. Une équipée d'un lit en 160 et l'autre de deux lits en 90 pouvant en faire un de 180. Une salle de bain avec cabine de douche, wc et lavabo, une mezzanine avec canapé convertible confort en 140, bibliothèque.. Pouvant accueillir de 4 à 6 personnes. La cuisine entièrement équipée ( lave-vaisselle, four, plaque cuisson, micro-onde, lave linge, réfrigérateur et congélateur) partage un grand espace salon canapé, fauteuils et sa grande cheminée ainsi qu'un mange debout.
Exposé plein sud, sans vis-à-vis, vue sur la vallée. Terrasse avec grand parasol et table de jardin sur 9000 m2 de terrain, bassin de ferme en pierres hors-sol 7x3 permettant la baignade de juin à septembre partagé avec l'autre gîte. La rivière le largue à 50m est une zone natura 2000 permettant la baignade jusqu'à début juillet.
Possibilité de nombreuses activités dans les alentours telles que parapente, équitation, vtt, randonnées, baignades, sorties centre astro, au milieu des champs de lavande et de sauge, à 15 min de banon avec sa grande librairie "le bleuet" et sa fromagerie, 15 min de Forcalquier et son grand marché, 30 min de Manosque ville de Jean Giono et autoroute, 30 min d'Apt, 1h d'Aix en Provence, 45 min du plateaux de Valensole, lac de sainte croix et gorges du Verdon, 1h20 gare TGV et 1h30 aéroport Marignane.

Summary: My family and I did stay three weeks at Pierre’s gorgeous place! Our three kids did enjoy the swimming pool, explored the grasshoppers and a number of other creatures in the extremely inviting and quiet surroundings, while our dog was having some fun too. The location did offer enough space for all of us and is perfectly equipped with everything you need to escape the daily routine. Based on Pierre’s recommendations we did have the chance to dive into a fantastic gourmet culture, local markets full of delicious traditional specialties embedded into villages full of character and history (which we wouldn’t have found as tourists…😉) The absolute highlight for us and for the kids was the observation of different star constellation during the cristal clear nights. So it is not a coincident, that one of Europes most beautiful Observation Centers are next door to Pierre’s location - an absolute Must have Seen!! We are strongly looking forward to come back and can only recommend Pierre as SUPERhost (well deserved) and his unique place.
