Positive: The apartment is excellently located in the heart of Tonneins, with everything I needed within easy walking distance. It was spotlessly clean and well-equipped, with thoughtful touches like a washing machine (including a pod), full cooking facilities, and a smart TV. The air conditioning kept the space very comfortable, and all the bathroom facilities worked perfectly. Communication with the host was smooth, and an early issue during the stay was resolved quickly, fairly, and professionally.
Negative: Although the bed was clean and looked tidy, we found it to be very soft, and we could feel the base through the mattress. It might not suit everyone—particularly those who need firmer support, like us. This meant our sleep wasn’t as comfortable as we’d hoped, but we’re confident that a small upgrade to the mattress would make a huge difference to an otherwise excellent stay.
Summary: A beautifully located and exceptionally clean apartment with great facilities and attentive hosting.
