Positive: Tucked behind the old church at Cléré-les-Pins, is Bruno's beautifully restored house, retaining all of its original charm in its old stones and wood beams. Totally calm, we passed two perfect nights in a delightful bedroom with a fully modern and large bathroom. Breakfast, served by our charming hosts, was copious and set us up for the days' excursions, Cléré-les-Pin is ideally situated for visiting many of the major sites and chateaux of the Loire valley, and there are many. It doesn't get better than this.
