Easy drive to the house, grocery stores , and restaurants, And still private with plenty of parking, with All the outdoor experiences right outside your door. Horseshoes ,tether ball and swimming. Right across the street. Hiking, Biking or a walk or run. We furnish 4 fishing poles ,double and single kayak and one large canoe. With lots of Water Flotations to enjoy in the clean, perfect water temperature amazing lake. Fire Pit with fire wood to have fun making S'mores ,singing and time together. Located in the NC foothills; 30 mins to Boone, 45 mins to Appalachian Ski Mountain.
Main level is approved for wheelchair access with comfortable entries and ramps. Main level features open living, dining table that seats 16 guests and an additional 3 or 4 at the breakfast bar. Kitchen has two ovens, stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and a wine refrigerator. Living area has a cozy leather pit sofa with curl up chairs around a warm fireplace and flat screen T.V. The main floor also has two bedrooms, one with king bed and ADA approved bathroom. Second spacious room has two queen beds with private bathroom. Also accessible on the main floor are a pool table, wrap-around deck with beautiful mountain and lake views, and gas grill.
Second floor has three large bedrooms. Master king size bed, private bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, private sitting and reading area with a futon that has a pull-out full bed. Second bedroom has two full size beds and private bathroom. Third bedroom has king size bed and private bathroom. All bedrooms come with a great view and satellite T.V.
Basement has two bedrooms, which share a large bathroom. First room has two sets of bunks (4 twins). Second bedroom has an additional two twins beds. This floor will keep anyone entertained with stone fireplace, large, comfy sofa, flat screen T.V., puzzle table, ping pong table and foosball. FUN! The basement has a second kitchen with refrigerator and sink. Exit to fire pit area and covered patio with hot tub and sitting area.
Stunning location with 55 miles of beautiful lake area. Plenty of activities to enjoy, including fishing, swimming, kayaking and canoeing from the dock (life jackets available for all sizes). You can rent a Pontoon Boat on the lake or bring your own boat or jet ski. Visit the beach parks and playground for the children, have a picnic, bike from the Cabin to nationally ranked bike trails. The home provides a complimentary Park Pass and a YMCA guests pass.
