We rent our family country house for spring and summer. It is in Beaujolais, in the heart of the vineyards, in a peaceful environment.

Summary: We so enjoyed our week in this truly lovely home. Our family of four (two adults and two children , age 11 and 12) as well as another couple shared the home. The photos do not do justice to how beautiful the house is— each room is well appointed and graciously decorated. The setting amidst vineyards is stunning and there are views from every window. We greatly enjoyed the pool on hot days — it was refreshing and clean (despite a large amount of wasps who had made a home near it!) The house stays quite cool from the stone walls and Julie had arranged for fans given the heatwave that preceded our visit. While there are no shops immediately near the house, there are good restaurants and basic stores within a 15 minute drive. We drove into Lyon several times which is a bit far, but doable. It is a perfect location for exploring the Beaujolais region and its many villages. Julie was very responsive and helpful, as was Laurence, her mother (our flight was delayed and we had to make last minute changes to our arrival). Bernard, who greeted us, was lovely. Highly recommended! Thank you for having us and we hope to return!
