Positive: The property was gorgeous and the house was very pretty and clean
Negative: When we arrived, there was no running water. The owner was very apologetic and helpful in letting us stay at their other property for the night while the water issue was resolved. The other property was also beautiful and clean, however, it was 50 minutes away from the house we were originally booked at and after already driving for 10 hours that day, this was a little frustrating. No compensation was offered for the inconvenience which was also a little frustrating because the gas we used to drive the extra two hours back and forth from the original house we booked to the holdover house was not free. Again, the owner was very friendly and helpful. I just thought that since this was something that was an inconvenience to us and not due to any fault of our own, we could’ve at least been compensated for the gas money.
