Retreat to this casual, quiet Lakefront property nestled in a cove, only 25 minutes south of Charlotte and 10 minutes from Wingate University. This 3-bedroom house in Monroe offers a fully equipped Kitchen, WiFi, Washer & Dryer, gas fireplace and the serenity of Union County countryside. Home also includes a game room with retro arcade, ping pong and air hockey table. Enjoy the oversized deck for grilling, dining, lounging and a game of darts. Rustic fire pit for evening campfires, and large dock for fishing/sunning, Kayaks and Canoe are included during Lake Twitty's open season, (March 1-Nov. 1). Pontoon Boat available to rent when Lake is open. Waivers required for watercraft. Lake Twitty is the water supply for Union County so swimming is not allowed. NO PARTIES, neighborhood very private and quiet, but come and enjoy the natural surroundings and all the comforts of home during your stay.

Summary: We had so much fun on our mom getaway. The house was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. There are many outdoor amenities. Sadly, it rained most of our stay so we couldn’t enjoy them, but we enjoyed sitting on the dock when we could, and relaxing by the fireplace when the weather didn’t cooperate. It was close enough to town that we were able to go exploring a bit. Betsy was very easy to communicate with and was very responsive. We look forward to coming back again in the future!
