The home is perfectly positioned at the end of the lake with fun outdoor activities for the whole family. This stylish home is the ideal holiday season destination and just minutes to the beautiful beaches, exciting restaurants and boutique stores on Atlantic Avenue.
The Space
Living Room Areas
The whole family can lounge in two separate living room areas and the outdoors. Enjoy hours of fun with games for kids and cards for adults. The smaller sitting area is located in the main part of the home next to the kitchen. There is a loveseat, two armchairs and a 65" HD smart TV. The second living room is semi- private with a large U-shaped sofa which seats 5 and a comfortable pull-out sleeper. This room has a piano, a 65" HD smart streaming TV with a sound bar and two identical desks and chairs for remote workers/ students. There is an X-box with 4 controllers that can be used on either TV.
Dining Area
The dining area sits to the right as you walk into the magnificent home. There is a charming rustic wooden dining table and 6 gun metal chairs with 3 urban low hanging diamond pendant lights. Off to the side is a gold and glass bar cart and French doors which lead out to the front porch.
The Kitchen
The beautifully Chef's kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need! There are stainless steel appliances including a commercial range gas stove with a charcoal and flat top grill, two ovens, and an impressive double door fridge with an ice maker. Extras include a Vitamix blender, indoor and outdoor dinnerware, glasses for 12, and all the pots, pans, and utensils you need. There is a filter coffee machine and gorgeous quartz counter tops with a chrome farmhouse spray faucet. Guests can enjoy meals at the counter top with 6 bar stools. We supply the coffee, sugar, basic oils and spices.
The Bedrooms
Sleep in luxury on the king-sized gray upholstered bed with farmhouse- style wood end tables and a modern ceiling fan. Beautiful shutter windows bring in natural light and illuminate the space in the master bedroom.
The 2nd bedroom has a queen wooden framed bed and eye-catching cityscape wall paper. This is a great space with privacy for remote workers or students with a personal desk and chair. Enjoy the views of the pool deck from this bedroom or step outside through the French doors directly from the room.
The 3rd bedroom is designed mainly for kids with two grey wooden framed twin beds and a palette of light pinks, creams and an accent wall paper treatment. There are over 100 children's books, toys for 4 - 7 year old's and a small white work desk.
The Bathrooms
The master en-suite bathroom has a small dressing table at the entry with a large mirror and modern gold light fixtures. The bathroom features a double sink vanity with emerald green granite counters and wood cabinets with plenty of space. Step inside the luxurious shower with glass door.
The 2nd bathroom is primarily setup for guests staying in the 2nd bedroom and 3rd bedrooms. There is a combination tub with a shower and a stunning black and white single vanity with a large mirror.
The half bathroom is the first bathroom which sits in the entrance hall to the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. The walls are painted in a soft aqua blue with a white and marble single vanity with 3 lower hanging pendant lights.
The Laundry Room
There is a large capacity LG washer and dryer with all the detergents and cleaning products needed. There is also mop, broom and vacuum.
The Outdoors
The outdoors is truly a tropical oasis. The home sits at the end of Lake Ida with views of the water from the pool deck. The crystal clear blue pool provides hours of fun for family and friends. Enjoy outdoor dining under an umbrella and a string of romantic lights above. Overlooking the pool is a rattan lounging set with outdoor comfortable cushions. There is a path to the left of the lake which leads you to a full-sized kids wooden playground, a round swing, screened-in trampoline and mosaic topped round stone table under an umbrella.
The Lake and Outdoor Activities
A few steps down from the playground area are two hammocks, two Kayaks and a small rowboat. One kayak is for kids, one for one or two adults. There is no dock, however guests may bring a small boat and tie it to the shore. Lake Ida is the 2nd largest lake in Palm Beach County with 189 acres, guests can enjoy boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, jet-skiing and shore swimming.
The Garage/ Gym
The garage holds one car. There are 2 mountain bikes, 1 city bike with helmets and bike locks. The garage also holds the mini gym with a weight seat, free weights, roller, inflated yoga ball, yoga mat and a Peloton bike which guests may use. There is also a 1- 2 seater private sauna.
Extras
There are beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella and cooler to take to the beach.
The Neighborhood
The home sits on the corner of this lovely, quiet and family- friendly street. Just a short 8 minute drive to Atlantic Ave and the beautiful Delray beaches. The neighborhood is safe for walks and bike rides and located close to all the amenities.
Things to Note:
There are some great restaurants and amenities within walking distance. We do recommend having a car or guests can use services like Uber or Lyft to get around.
Check in is at 4pm - 10pm ONLY.
Must be 35 y/o or older to book.
UPON BOOKING, WE REQUIRE A PHOTOCOPY OF THE LEAD GUESTS DRIVERS LICENSE WHICH MATCHES THE CREDIT CARD USED TO BOOK.
ABSOLUTELY NO NOISE AFTER 10PM OUTSIDE, WE DO NOT ALLOW PARTIES OR GATHERINGS OF ANY KIND AT THE HOUSE, AND QUIET HOURS START AT 9PM.
NO EVENTS: This includes any bachelor, bachelorette, birthday, holiday, engagement parties, or any work meetings.
There is an additional resort fee of $45/ day added to the booking for the use of the pool heater. We ask that guests provide us with at least 24 hours notice should they wish to use it.
Pets:
We allow 1 dog and charge a non-refundable pet fee (no cats). That fee depends on the breed and size of the dog. Please pick up after you dog and keep them off the furniture, if possible.
*Please note it is Florida and with the warmer wet climate there are mosquitos and sometime bugs that may come in or around the home. We do have a pest control service the property monthly but please take precautions and use bug repellent.
There are two pet tortoises on the property in an outdoor enclosure, either behind the side of the home in a fenced off area or by the playground. You are welcome to look at them and feed them vegetation only.
There is a neighborhood noise ordinance of 10pm and we ask that you please respect the neighbors. We ask that any socializing after 10pm be done in the comforts of our spacious home and not outside. Thanks for understanding!
