The cottage is moments away from Lake Ullswater with its many attractions including the Ullswater Steamers, Aira Force and some of the best walks within the Lake District as well as being on the Ullswater Way, a circular route around the lake. Many characterful villages are dotted around the lake with pubs and shops, Another Place Hotel offers fine dining and afternoon teas. Pooley Bridge is a short drive with shops and pubs for casual dining. A trip over Kirkstone Pass will lead you to Bowness on Windermere or Ambleside making exploring the southern lakes easy and Keswick is a 25 minute drive.

A separate sitting room also benefits from views over the lake and has comfortable sofas, TV and an inset LED electric fire. The rear lobby houses a washer/dryer and leads to a slate tiled bathroom with a shower over the bath. Ground floor twin bedroom that can be made up as a double bed on request.
