La Casa Di Nonni is a private holiday home situated in the beautiful country town of Verzella.
With the beautiful vineyards of Verzella and Mt. Etna at the front of your doorstep our place welcomes families and couples from all over the world to take a break from all the hustle and bustle and just take in the fresh mountain breeze of Etna, whilst admiring the picturesque views of the surroundings.
La Casa Di Nonni offers a complete self contained two bedroom holiday home perfect for couples, friends or families visiting Sicily.
The spacious main bedroom includes a queen size bed with plenty of room to store your travel necessities.
For those families or large friend groups who are visiting La Casa Di Nonni we offer our second bedroom with two spacious single beds perfect for resting after a long day of sightseeing or skiing.
The kitchen comes equipped with all necessities needed such as an oven, stove, toaster, fridge and last but not least an excellent coffee machine making those lazy mornings a little easier to overcome. You will be supplied with coffee, tea, milk and brioche as a light breakfast.
Our large dining room and living area makes perfect for those choosing to stay in and relax after a long day out. We have a large flat screen tv with access to over 200 channels and a comfortable sofa that turns into a sofa bed for those large families or groups choosing to visit.
Located in the living area we also have a fireplace that is fuelled by pellets for those cold winter days and nights, no wood chopping required!
Our lovely guests have access to all areas of the house including a small private courtyard. No areas of the house will be shared by other residents.
As we are located in Australia our interaction with guests will be at an extreme minimum and will only be contactable via phone or emails. We promise to be as prompt with correspondence although please take into consideration the lengthy time difference of Australia and Italy.
That being said we do have family located in Sicily who will be available if any emergencies do happen to occur.
If using the fireplace, please note that the pellets in the fireplace need to be topped up daily and the inside glass panel wiped prior to using.
Castiglione di Sicilia is a ten minute drive away, Taormina is a 40 minute drive away. The nearest supermarket is 10 minutes drive in the village of Randazzo. We also have a world famous winery 5 minutes drive away located in Solicciata called Il Gambino which is highly recommended for a long lazy lunch with wine pairings. We also have a Byzantine Cuba in the village of Verzella which is highly recommended. Lastly Verzella has its own wood fired Pizzeria!
