Are you ready to put your toes in the sand? Surf's Edge condo is Ready & Waiting for you! Surf's Edge is an Oceanfront condo, located on the Top Floor of Perdido Skye in beautiful Perdido Key, Florida. This 7th floor, 1 bedroom, 1 bath corner condo offers comfortable accommodations for up to 6 guests with maximum of 4 adults.
Surf's Edge is both a corner condo and top floor condo. This means more privacy for you and more views! There isn't a condo above you and there isn't a condo to your right side! Plus, corner units like Surf's Edge have more windows than other units in the building - that means more natural light and more beach views!
The condo easily sleeps 6 guests with 1 King-size bed in the master bedroom, children's size bunk bed in the hallway, and a queen-size sofa sleeper in the living room. A pocket door in the hall provides privacy to the living room.
The bunks beds are shorter than the standard size bunk bed, so they are best suited for children of 5 ft tall or less and max weight of 125 lbs. Children under 10 years of age should not sleep in top bunk.
The condo also features: private oceanfront balcony, living room, nicely equipped kitchen, dining space for 6, 1 full bathroom with tub-shower combination, 2 flat screen TVs with cable channels, Wireless internet, and stacking washer and dryer inside the condo!
The complex amenities include:
~ Seasonally heated swimming pool on the gulf side of the building (not in the parking lot like other condo complexes),
~ Charcoal BBQ grills,
~ Fitness room.
Parking-
There is parking for 1 vehicle per unit. Parking trailers, RVs, boats and jet skis are not allowed since there simply is not enough room in the parking lot. To store these larger items, please arrange for storage at a local storage lot in the area before you arrive to ensure availability.
During your stay you will love the fabulous views from the oceanfront balcony, the convenient location of the condo, the seasonally heated pool (typically heated Oct - Feb), the fitness room, the well equipped kitchen, and the great value for your vacation dollars! You can sleep up to 6 guests in this condo, do laundry in the unit and prepare fabulous meals in the well equipped kitchen.

Summary: The condo was easily located and the view truly could not be beat. The decor was very cute and beachy. However, when we arrived we were almost knocked over by the smell of the febreeze plug-ins. We unplugged them immediately and soon realized their purpose. The entire condo had a horrible musty smell. It was the worst in the bedroom. Even the dishes in the cabinets smelled kind of musty andsour. (everything in my suitcase had to be washed when I got home due to the smell.) Kitchen counters and appliances were very clean but the floors were absolutely filthy. The tiles were practically black and we had to wear our shoes the entire time. When we moved the chairs to the table you could clearly see the outlines of the furniture where the floors had not been cleaned in quite some time. There was dust covering the light fixtures. And the ice maker was also broken. The hosts were made aware of these situations, but apparently there were some communication issues as they kept telling me they were trying to text/call even though my phone never rang. My phone was receiving calls/text otherwise so I'm not sure what was going on there. I find it hard to believe they were actually trying to get in touch. We were finally told there should be ice trays, which there were not. There was construction going on as well so there was nowhere to sit around the pool whatsoever, but it wasn't a big deal since we spent most of the time at the beach anyways.
