WHOLE HOUSE ALL TO YOURSELF!
Year-round pool and jacuzzi: We heat our massive saltwater pool with unobstructed hillside and city views in THREE DIFFERENT WAYS to get you the best pool experience possible! We have a solar heater, propane heater, and a solar pool cover. See optional items for more details below. The pool is fully fenced. We have floaties and balls for fun by the pool. The pool is on the larger and deeper side with an enjoyable shallow end.
Comfort: All beds have 100% cotton sheets and 100% cotton blankets (duvets are microfiber). All sheets and blankets are white, do not trust vacation rentals without white bedding! Mattresses are all medium firm and fiberglass free. All beds feature luxury gel pillows. All bedrooms feature blackout curtains for a peaceful nights rest. House has two seperate HVAC systems with air conditioning and propane gas heat. Thermostats are controlled with ecobee thermostats. House is energy efficient with dual pane windows and quality insulation. The pool is solar heated which extends the swimming season to late February and early October, raising the water temp appx. 5 degrees past the daytime high. Jacuzzi is propane heated and is included for FREE if your daily rate before taxes and fees exceeds $300/day+, otherwise jacuzzi heat is a $49/day addon. Our solar blanket raises the water another 5 degrees year round.
Outdoor Grounds & Entertainment: Spread out and enjoy supreme privacy on the 9 acres. We have basketballs and footballs spread around the property. We have frisbee golf in the front yard. We have some some squirt guns available for the fountains. We have horseshoes on the hill behind the pool. We have a tennis/basketball court in C/D conditions for casual non-competitive play which does require walking down a small hill. We have a couple croquet balls and some mini-golf behind the pool as well. Sit by the pool and see the San Diego hills. At night a part of the San Diego skyline is visible through the mountains.. Cook with a propane grill and charcoal grill. We have two propane tanks available and ask that guests refill their own propane.
Indoor Entertainment: We have 6 smart TV's, one in every bedroom! HBO Max, Disney Plus, Paramount Plus, Netflix, and Hulu are available. A 1000W Bose Theater sound system is available for use in the family room attached to the TV, note that local DB laws are enforced. We have a small collection of board games including our favorite Quarkle. An AirPlay device called Mii Audio is attached to the stereo to cast from your Apple or Android phone.
Wi-Fi: We do have 50mb high speed internet, even though we are in a rural area! And you're in luck, we have Wi-Max, not Hughes-Net!
Inside: Enter into a grand entry-way with cathedral ceilings. Stairs are directly ahead that lead to a loft with balcony and rolling hills views. The house has a split floorplan with two giant living rooms with a kitchen in between them, with a master bedroom on seperate wing and other downstairs bedrooms on a seperate wing.
Bedrooms: An XL master bedroom, with a stand-alone jet tub and walk-in shower. Second bedroom is large as well, features a jack and jill bathroom with two showers leading to the third average sized bedroom. All bedrooms have king sized beds, some with "trundle" beds to handle extra guests. Two bedrooms feature sliding glass doors with entrance/exit to outside. Loft with private balcony and a palm tree hillside view serves as 4th bedroom. Note that some platforms count the living room as a 5th bedroom because we have beds available for it.
Optional Upcharges: We offer FREE aquathermal solar heat. Solar heat works best from April 15-October 30, and gets water 0-5 degrees above the daytime high but is weather dependent. We also offer propane heat, this luxurious add-on from our 400,000 BTU heater is available year round and can get the pool to 92 degrees for an up-charge. Propane heat add-on is $199/day from April 15-Sep 15 and $299/day Sep 16-April 14. The 3rd way we heat is w/ the solar pool cover, this must stay on when the pool is not in use year-round to prevent energy loss and prevent waste. Jacuzzi is free if your daily rate is over $300 and Jacuzzi is $49/day if your daily rate is below $300.

Bedding arrangements: STANDARD SLEEPING (sleeps 22 adults, up to 26-28 if kids ): The gigantic master bedroom has two king beds (sleeps 5 adults or 6 kids). Bdrm 2 (large) has 2 trundle beds (King + twin + twin/King+ twin + twin) (sleeps 8 adults or 10 kids). Bdrm 3 has one trundle bed. (sleeps 4 adults or 6 kids). Loft (large) has a king and a twin (sleeps 3 adults or 4 kids). We have 2 luxury roll-away mattresses which can go in many spots (sleeps 2). We have a large comfortable couch that sleeps 2.
OVERFLOW SLEEPING: We have 10 wood room dividing partitions available for added privacy for large groups. We have 2 queen and 2 king air mattresses which you can use throughout the home. (sleeps 8). We have 15 twin air mattresses. (Sleeps 15, army style sleeping). Air mattresses can go in the gigantic master, master walk in closet, or the two gigantic living rooms. We also have a day bed that sleeps two outside. You are welcome to bring tents or anything if people want to sleep outside for enhanced spacing. Our total bed inventory includes:
