Summary: Our 20-day stay in Provence was delightful in so many ways, and our hostess, Jacqueline, made it all even more special. Her home is set in a lovely location between vineyards and forest, and close to many of the "Most Beautiful Villages" of France. The views from our top-floor apartment were picture perfect. Fresh flowers and a bottle of wine from the area were part of Jacqueline's kind welcome. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable. Jacqueline graciously provided us information for hiking in the area, grocery shopping, and even spent a day guiding us on a walk to a beautiful nearby village, where she gave us the historical background of some of the buildings. She answered our many questions about vineyards, and showed us herbs growing wild along the path, and she was very patient with our limited French. She is a wonderful hostess – very personable and kind - and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at her wonderful home. We look forward to seeing her again on our next trip to Provence.
