Positive: The apartment is just outside the old town center and there is free parking very close by which made it easy both to see Sarlat itself and to make day trips outside Sarlat. The town center is only a few minutes walk so it was easy to go out for dinner, visit the market or just sight see. The apartment itself was nicely furnished with lots of eclectic art that gave a nice ambiance. The kitchen was well provided and we chose to eat breakfasts and some dinners in the apartment. The apartment is above a commercial area but was dead quiet at night. We had 2 rainy afternoons during our 7 day stay and really appreciated the space and comfort and it was the perfect time to use the available washer and dryer. While there was an elevator it was slow enough that we only used it to bring our luggage up and down. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful.
