This newly converted spaces has been designed with active people in mind. We have thought about what walkers, climbers, cyclists and outdoor thrill seekers might need in a short term lodging.
Based around the idea of the Italian Rifugio, it is a bunk house. This bunk house , however is not shy on home comforts and has all the facilities for cooking and a long table for route planning and traditional social eating.
Its an open plan space with bespoke furniture covered in maps giving new life to old furniture, with modern styled fittings and pictures taken in and around the area.
There is a Laundry facility with this house, including drying, at no extra cost and a hanging area for drying wet clothing in the winter.
The heating is designed to make this Rifugio operational throughout the year and it is pellet fueled for cleanliness and ease.
Its is wonderfully placed in the valley with mountain bike routes, paths that stretch for miles and it is also ideal for walkers on the Matilda de Canossa pilgrimage route.
There is a lockable space for bikes next to the house.
There is access to the shared pool where you will also get WiFi in the pool side courtyard.
This space can also be booked as an overflow to our other houses for extra guests.
