This mid-century modern family cottage has everything you need to enjoy time with friends and loved ones, spend a honeymoon, or just rest and recharge! Nestled on the top of a dune directly ON Lake Michigan, the cottage is surrounded by woodlands and nature. Play beach games, sun yourself, enjoy spectacular sunsets while you lounge on the white sand beach, or sit on the deck and sip cool lemonade. The short stairways ensure easy direct access to the waterfront. (Note that the stairs leading down to the water may not be suitable for those with disabilities)
Large windows in the main cottage provide a panoramic lake view from the open living, dining (table accommodates 8), and fully equipped cook’s kitchen. A smaller screened area attached to the bunkhouse offers a shady spot to read or play board games, and the garage apartment includes a pool table and gaming area to entertain you on a rainy afternoon.
Venture away from the private enclave for a ride along the Hart-Montague bike trail, canoe on the nearby White River, go off-roading with a Silver Lake Dune Buggy Adventure, or enjoy an afternoon of shopping in the quaint village of Pentwater.
Huckleberry’s Hideaway has 4 bedrooms in three separate buildings to allow for private moments away from the larger gatherings. (Note that there are three flights of stairs leading up to the main dwelling)
Our turnovers are always on Mondays and we do allow small dogs, our pet fee is $100 for the stay. The premise does not allow boats or RV's.
