Summary: Pictures and description of the house are misleading. The house only has 3 bedrooms and a living room with a pull out bed. The house has no parking. You have to park in the street and hope that the neighbors don’t park in the only open area. The next door neighbors are not too friendly nor happy about people parking in the street close to their home. Also heads up on the amount of stairs you will be going up and down. You have a long narrow and steep stair case going down just to get to the front entrance. It happen to rain when we were there and it was a bit slippery. When you walk into the home you have a stair case that goes up that leads to the living room, dining room and kitchen. There is a restroom on that floor that is meant for a very slim person. Half the kitchen cabinets are locked. The kitchen was well stocked with plates and cups but had not cooking utensils. The electric stove must have been old or not working to the fullest potential. It took over 2 hours to cook bacon and close to 45 mins to make eggs. To get to the second floor from the front entrance you have to go down 4 steps be careful those steps do not have grip tape so they are slippery if you are walking in socks. The second floor has 2 bedrooms, a full bathroom and the locked thermostat. We had not control over the temperature in the house. The second floor was hot and the bottom floor was freezing. To get to the bottom floor you have a long, steep carpeted stair case. The bottom floor reminded me of a basement it had the washer and dryer in a corner. There was no door for the room down there, it’s just an open area with 2 twin beds. There is a full bathroom down there as well. Deck pictures are as advertised. Nice view from top deck. Over all I would not chosen this cabinet for our new year trip to the mountains as I had my elderly mother and aunt with us. All the stairs in this home are not elderly and children friendly. Also host had someone there waiting for us to arriving even though we had already informed him we would be getting there around 6 pm and due to traffic we ended up arriving at the home at 8pm. This made me and family feel very awkward/creepy.
