The building, recently renovated respecting the original architectural features, is a typical Sienese farmhouse from the 18th century, where, in addition to the owner's home, there is the three-room apartment 'PIOPPO, extremely comfortable and pleasant, consisting of 2 bedrooms with double bed, dressing room with sink, bathroom with shower, a large living room with sofa and a kitchenette with 4 gas burners, fridge, microwave oven and all necessary dishes. Outside there is a large garden available for guests equipped with deck chairs, sun loungers, a wood-burning brick oven, a barbecue and a swimming pool from which you can enjoy an unparalleled view of the Sienese hills. Summary: Our destination was easily found because Manola had given us very good directions. The property is well hidden from the main road so there were lovely walks to take right from the house. My 88 year old cousin and I couldn't have asked for a more convenient or friendlier place to stay. There was everything we needed in the apartment, the views of the landscape and Montepulciano were breathtaking, the town was a 3-minute drive away, which made it easy to explore. Then we set out to see more of the region and came home each evening to our comfy little place. Words cannot describe the owners who were welcoming, helpful and discreet, simply beautiful people, and I must add that we had chosen a good time of the year to visit Tuscany because the weather was perfect. I hope to return again. We had a wonderful week.
