Positive: Our recent stay at Hotel Gokulam Grand in Pithapuram was truly memorable, thanks to the wonderful hospitality and personalized service we received during our visit. From the moment we arrived, Ms. Bhavani at the reception made us feel exceptionally welcome. Her warm demeanor and professionalism stood out. She went above and beyond to ensure our check-in was smooth and our stay comfortable. It's rare to come across such genuine care and attention, and her help truly enhanced our experience. Equally commendable were two housekeeping staff members from Kolkata, who were always courteous, attentive, and incredibly helpful. Despite their behind-the-scenes role, they made a noticeable difference by promptly catering to all our requests and ensuring our room was always in perfect condition. Their dedication did not go unnoticed and was very much appreciated. Now, last but certainly not least, a special shoutout must go to your chef. The food at Gokulam Grand is simply out of this world. It’s not just well-prepared — it’s made with love. You can truly taste the heart and soul the chef puts into every dish. It was honestly one of the highlights of our stay.
Negative: Initially, the first room we received had a peculiar smell, but within 10 minutes, Ms. Bhavani at the reception promptly arranged a room change for us. Her quick response and willingness to help made a great first impression. The new room was more comfortable, though it came with a few minor issues: the TV wasn’t working, the AC remote was non-functional, and the designer light was unserviceable. However, two housekeeping staff members from Kolkata truly went above and beyond to assist us. They were quick to address every issue they could, fixing the TV and AC remote efficiently. While the designer light couldn't be repaired during our stay and cups were missing in the room, the genuine dedication and positive attitude of the staff more than made up for these small inconveniences. Despite these minor drawbacks, the hospitality and warmth shown by the team — especially Ms. Bhavani and the housekeeping boys — made our stay memorable. It’s clear that the hotel values its guests and is committed to providing the best possible experience.
