Positive: This is an annexe behind a large private house, accessed via their drive and using a key to open the electric gate, all very easy and the hosts were very welcoming. We liked the two large spacious rooms and the bathroom, which had an abundance of towels (a real luxury!). Plenty of matching white china The area is quiet and the road on which the house sits leads down to a quiet country lane, perfect for walking our two dogs (who really liked the space they had to run around!). The views are lovely. Pool towels and loungers with cushions were provided which is also a real bonus - not many places do this. All very clean. Overall, we were very happy with our stay here.
Negative: There wasn't anything we didn't like but have a couple of pointers: A variety of coffees were provided but no teas, which would have been pleasant, especially fruit / mint teas. A smaller frying pan would have been useful - I had to use one of the larger ones to scramble 2 eggs! After a long arrival, or on a hot day, a bottle of water or wine or beer in the fridge (or all 3!) would be a happy welcome.
