The Cottage is located near historical railways station/motel ( the one like in the western movies) which was demolish 14 plus years ago. Railway still passes through the town few times a day/night. More information can be available at the Horse Cave city hall which is fewer blocks away from the cottage.

Summary: We actually stayed in a different vrbo by this owner because the original house need unforeseen repairs just weeks before our arrival. The owner was great to accommodate. The house we stayed at is old (typical in the area) but it was clean and didn't smell old at all. Typically in old houses it can be dusty and the linens have an odd smell but not this house. We could tell the owner took care of the place.
