Positive: This was a great place to stay for our two-couple trip. It was close enough to Tahoe City, but also felt remote. It has a great view of the lake. I thought the mattresses and bedding were very comfortable, but the rest of our party had mixed reviews. It is stocked with basic toiletries - shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. It also had some coffee to get you started.
Negative: The cabin definitely needs a deep clean. There was a lot of dust and even cobwebs in some areas. There is also a lack of clear instructions on where to find things. We had to do a lot of digging to find the extra towels, fans, and even the fireplace switch (it is not next to the fireplace as the online instructions indicate, but in the kitchen). A house manual would be very helpful. Also two of the showers are extremely small. We made it work, but I could see someone not enjoying the bathrooms.
Summary: Would definitely stay again if it got a good cleaning.
