Positive: Where does one even begin because words can never suffice! Nestled at the underbelly of the Hanglip mountain is a piece of heaven on earth. Honeyguide Conservation Lodge provides the perfect balance of the bush and opulent luxury. If you're looking for privacy, romance and a tranquil escape, this is the place for you. Apart from the impeccable views, modern and pristine furnishings as well as amazing food, the staff at the Lodge really captured our hearts. They went over and above the call of duty, far exceeding my usually high expectations to deliver a perfect weekend getaway for my partner and I. Conny, Kate and Proud hosted us perfectly and paid attention to every detail you could think of. Our guide, Katlego was a true gem. She was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, interactive and exceedingly passionate about her job. She ensured that we got to experience the Big 5 whilst ensuring that we were safe and comfortable at all times. Thank you to Chefs Precious, Grace and Nelisiwe for making sure that our stomachs were always as full as our hearts with the most delicious dishes. Thank you for the beautiful and delicious cake and private dinner, ensuring that my partner’s birthday was truly special. I could go on forever about this place. This was undoubtedly our most memorable escape thus far. Thank you, we will surely be back.
Negative: I would advise guests to travel in a big car as our little hatchback did struggle to navigate certain parts of the terrain.
