The very cosy holiday house was formerly used to store grain. This historical building dating back to 1606 is more than 400 years old and is among the oldest buildings in the Südheide. The house enjoys a quiet location on a former farm in Wienhausen, in the Nordburg area.
The living room opens onto the half-roofed terrace with garden furniture, a table and chairs, two loungers, a parasol. It is situated in a little garden.
The ground floor comprises a living room with a dining corner, sofa and open kitchen. The first floor houses the parents’ bedroom with a double bed and a cot, and a bathroom with a shower and WC. The second floor (attic) has a children’s bedroom with three single beds, accessed up an attic stairway. You can admire the grand old oak beams and the timber work from the inside, which enhances the exceptional rustic ambience. The large window front on the ground floor allows plenty of light into the interior.
The Celler Land is known for its well-developed hiking and cycling network through the varied meadow, forest and heath landscapes and along the Aller. The Aller cycle path offers cyclists beautiful routes. Very nearby there are also many idyllic Aller tributaries, where you can also go fishing. You can go for leisurely strolls in Celle, with the historical timber-framed old town, the castle, a baroque church, the Bomann Museum, Niedersächsisces Landgestüt and Bieneninstitute. Other trip destinations include the world-famous Wienhasen monastery, the Walrode bird sanctuary, Ersepark Uetze, Safaripark Hodenhagen. Hannover zoo, Heidepark Soltau, Serengeti Park, Mühlenmuseum Gifthorn, Oerrel hunting museum, film animal park in Aschenberg and the car city of Wolfsburg, as well as designer outlets in Wolfsburg and Soltau.
