The house is located in the village of Lubières, accessible from the rue des Fontaines. The average altitude of the village is 420 metres. Named "Le Leopaul", the house is over a hundred years old and can accommodate a maximum of 5 people. It faces due south and has a grassed courtyard of around 150 m², which is totally enclosed and completely independent, with the possibility of parking a vehicle. The grassed courtyard provides a covered area for outdoor meals, with a garden table and chairs and a barbecue. This stone-built house has 3 levels.
The ground floor comprises an entrance hall, a large, well-equipped kitchen with fridge and freezer, gas and electric hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, crockery and kitchen utensils and a living room with TV socket. On the 1st floor there are 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed and one with a single bed.
Also on the 1st floor is the bathroom (washbasin, bathroom cabinet and shower). The 2nd floor is not accessible to tenants.

Lubières, a small village in the Haute-Loire, is situated on the Limagne plain (8 km from Brioude), halfway between Clermont-Ferrand, the capital of Auvergne, and Le Puy en Velay, the prefecture of the Haute-Loire, famous for its lentils and verbena. The village of Lubières has around a hundred inhabitants and is located 3.5 km from the Arvant SNCF railway station and around 5 km from the A75 motorway.
The River Allier is less than 2 kilometres away, making it ideal for fishing and swimming. Lovely country walks on dirt tracks. Mushrooms can be picked in the woods near the village.
