Villa Stamos is nestled into a rural area of Plimmiri, just a couple of kilometres from the villages of Prasonisi, Kattavia and Lahania, surrounded by lush greenery, away from town noise.
The villa renovated in 2023 is on an 11,500m² site with a wonderful sea view. The luxury villa has two bedrooms and a big swimming pool of 40 sq.m. with sea view. The first bedroom has a double bed 160x200 cm, while the other family bedroom has two double beds 160x200 cm; a baby cot could be added for free if requested in advance. The family bedroom of the villa has a traditional “sofa” in a Greek style, which is a kind of raised bed for four that a whole family can sleep on comfortably, especially those with toddlers who sleep in their parents’ bed. There are two bathrooms; one inside the house (with 80x120 cm shower), and one external next to the swimming pool (with shower too).The villa (77 sq.m.) can therefore accommodate up to six adults/children and a baby in a baby cot. The living room has a 43” FullHD Smart TV with satellite channels. Free Air conditioning is also available.
The villa has a fully equipped kitchen, featuring also dishwasher, washing machine, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, blender, toaster, kettle and a lot of cutleries and accessories.
There is a big terrace with a 200x100 cm table and chairs, where you can enjoy the Aegean sea and the summer moon.
There is a big private swimming pool for relaxing in this idyll, and there is also a grill. From here you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea or the stars with a cool drink.
There's a private parking area for up to four cars. Wireless Internet is available throughout and is free of charge. Baby cot is also available, free of charge, but has to be pre-ordered. A welcome basket with snacks, Nespresso coffee, fruits and a bottle of wine is provided by the hosts.
The Villa is just seven minutes from Plimmiri beach (Plimmira means flood in Greek), and a 15-minute drive from the exotic Prasonisi, a paradise for surfers, and a 25-minute drive to Lindos. There is a lot to experience. It is only a short drive to the traditional villages of Kattavia, Lahania and Gennadi, where you can learn about the rural life of the locals in the south of Rhodos. These villages have many traditional restaurants, cafés and markets. Prasonisi is ideal for windsurfing and kite surfing and is just 15 minutes away. If you would like to go swimming you can go to the quieter side of Prasonisi opposite, to the sandy beach of Agios Georgios (which is very close to the villa), to Plimmiri beach, Lachania beach and Gennadi; all of these great beaches just minutes from Villa Stamos.
You can also go for strolls along the rural roads or on mountain bike rides. You can swim at Plimmiri beach 350 metres away and explore the nearby beaches, or go fishing in Plimmiri which is known for the good quality of its fish and its clear water.
There is a great fish restaurant right by Plimmiri beach, just 2km away. It is 15 minutes to Gennadi, which has a big supermarket, grocery store, bakery and a Health Center. It is 25 minutes drive to the charming and historical village of Lindos with its Acropolis.
