What makes this place unique is its location. Only 10 steps from the beach, this villa is perfect for families looking for a relaxed holiday without much driving. Right next to the property there is a family restaurant serving traditional Kefalonian cuisine with home grown vegetables and fresh fish caught in the Kefalonian sea. The restaurant can deliver food to your door if requested. About 5min drive there guests can explore the vineyards of Foivos Domaine, a winery that has received international awards. Just 5min drive is the largest super market in town where guests can find everything they need.
The patio is equipped with a large dining table and chairs. The terrace is equipped with garden furniture including sunshades and sunbeds. The back garden has several high trees offering rich shadows with hammocks to rest. The front garden has a vast lawn viewing the sea.
It is a two story house with a spacious ground floor(50 m²) that includes a fully equipped kitchen, living room, and dining area. The large windows facing the sea lead to a big patio allowing guests to dine outside and enjoy the garden. Interior stairs lead to the first floor. There, two double bedrooms (25 m² each), with en suite bathrooms, offer a very convenient stay. Both rooms have access to one large balcony where guests can enjoy a stunning view of the sea including the islands of Vardianni and Zante. The stairs also lead to the third lower ground double room (50m²) which includes an external separate entrance as well. The room includes a double bed, a sofa bed, a sitting area, a kitchenette, and a bathroom. Teenagers are particularly fond of it for the sense of independence they feel during their family holidays. The villa was built in 2005 and is in excellent condition.
The property offers direct access to the safest beach in Kefalonia. The beach is made up of a soft, red sand that slopes very gently and the water remains shallow (knee level) for about 20 m from the shore. The cape offers very calm and safe waters making it ideal for children. A great variety of small fish and birds pass through the area providing a very diverse environment. All the villas look to the south-east with an amazing view of the sea including the uninhabited isle of Vardiani, the island of Zante, and Mt Aenos.
Please note that the villa can only be reached by vehicle. Access to the beach is through a wooden staircase (10 steps).
