Positive: It's a small house in the old village of Lindar in central Istria. The house is nicely renovated, with all the modern appliances but still retains the charm of an old house with stone walls that it is. It has a large bedroom with a queen size bed and a cot, a smaller bedroom with two individual beds, a living room with couch and TV, nice bathroom (looks newly renovated) with washing machine and an open space dining/kitchen area with fridge and stove. Plus a small terrace in front. All rooms have AC, in case it gets too hot. It's position makes the whole of Istria accessible in 30-40 min drive. We also loved the Pazin area, especially for cycling. Our host, Helena, was extremely welcoming and helpful. One night we were greeted by a large bowl of homemade, delicious pancakes that she made for us and the kids.
Negative: The house has an old house smell, I guess it comes with the package. We felt it at first, but after airing the house it was not a problem for us. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the village so the terrace was not usable without detterants. All the windows have nets, but a few did manage to get inside.
