Our Sicilian holiday home with two stacked apartments is in a quiet, safe area and is located in the beautiful village of Forza d'Agro. The movie:'The Godfather' was filmed in Forza d'Agrò. Known for its breathtaking mountain views Forza d'Agro is 1300' (420m) above the Mediterranean Sea and includes an 11th - 12th century castle and its adjacent homes. The apartment of the second floor has 2 bedrooms, a kitchen/living room and a bathroom and a balcony. There is common large roof terrace for private sun bathing. The roof terrace provides stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea, the coast beyond the city of Calabria, the castle and more! The professionally landscaped grounds have many local plants, including a small vineyard. There is off-street parking including a gate for security. _________________________________________________

There are many day trips available due to the central location of Forza d'Agrò. Palermo is a two hour day trip and Siracusa is a under a two hour ride. There are also many water sports; fishing scuba diving, water skiing. The beaches are 5 minutes away from Forza d'Agro by car. Day trips to the health spa's on the islands of Lipari using the volcanic hot mud baths. The closest airport would be Catania 35 miles (60 km). In the summer are concerts and opera in the Greek theater of Taormina. Tickets can be purchased directly in Taormina. A huge shopping center is located in Catania Etnapolis. For families, there is a theme park in Catania Etnaland!
