This grand 4.000 sqft + estate boasts of exceptional craftsmanship from its origin build in 1883 by then dairy farmer owners. With its grand double-decker porches, you catch a glimpse of the rolling 21-acre farm while rocking in the rocking chairs located on every porch - from the ever-blooming gardens, to pasture with grazing sheep, the deep hill leading to a large pond, back up to the massive barn, down a trail to an over-century year old small gravesite, and back up and around to the orchard. You’re sure to catch an Amish buggy rolling by and a memorable sunset overlooking the blue ridge mountains.
As if the countryside setting isn’t relaxing enough, when you walk inside you are greeted with a step back in time when grand foyers were for sitting and libraries for reading and socializing. The home boasts of elegant 10-foot ceilings, larger than average entryways, and expansive windows.
On the first floor there is a renovated kitchen complete with two ovens and plenty of room for prepping and entertaining. Off the kitchen there is a mudroom to one side, and a cozy, cedar wood enclosed back porch to the back. Next you walk into an expansive foyer making your way to the library complete with shelves of books, board games, and select vintage and new pieces. There is a full size bathroom off the library as well as a full size laundry room complete with detergent, dryer sheets, ironing board and iron. As you exit the library and back into the foyer you reach the living room with oversized couches and chairs. Across the way is the dining room that boasts of a crystal chandelier, long farmhouse table, and antique dinner service for 10.
At this point in your journey through the home you have caught a glimpse of the majestic stairwell. Once upstairs the room to your right is bedroom 1 which includes a queen bedroom suit and closet, as well as entry into a Jack and Jill bathroom. Across the hall is bedroom 2 which includes a queen bedroom suit with select antique furniture pieces. In yet another massive foyer between the four bedrooms upstairs there is a full bathroom and two separate doors leading to a front upper porch and a back upper porch. As you make your way towards the front upper porch, to your right is bedroom 3 which includes a queen bedroom suit with select antique pieces and a closet. Across the hall is the final, bedroom 4 with a king bedroom suit and a closet. Bedroom 4 also has entry access to the Jack and Jill bathroom. Each bed is complete with foam mattresses and cozy mattress toppers, in addition to soft sheets, plush down duvet cover, and 4 plush pillows per bed.
Each bedroom is equipped with a TV and Netflix.

We are conveniently located 30 minutes from Lynchburg, Liberty University, Appomatox, and Farmville, as well as a quick 45 minutes to many hiking adventures such as Crabtree Falls.
