The Space:
Hill River Nature by Tiny Away is located in the coastal town of Jurien Bay, offering an unobstructed view of the Indian Ocean. It's just a 15-minutes drive from Jurien Bay Jetty, a great spot for fishing and swimming.
What's more, this tiny house is one of Jurien Bay's charming holiday homes, conveniently located near attractions like Sandy Cape, Sandy Recreation Park, Nambung National Park, and the Lobster Shack in Cervantes.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home, just a 2-hour drive from Perth, nestled among wattle trees and featuring all the modern comforts of home. Complete with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower for your use.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We want to inform our guests that in the summer months, it can be extremely toasty outside, reaching as high as 40 degrees, and recommend guests that they dress lightly with a shirt and shorts.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny home and its surroundings, except for the blue barn shed. We also advise guests to use the designated access track only.
GUEST NOTICE: We would like to advise guests travelling from the city to Jurien Bay to check with their mobile network service provider to confirm the availability of network coverage in the Jurien area. It has been brought to our attention that some guests were unable to connect to the network upon leaving Perth and were consequently unreachable upon check-in.
Every call or message is important, so it is crucial to make sure you have a reliable network connection to ensure prompt communication in any unforeseen situation.

Hill River Nature is at Jurien Bay, around two hours from Perth. Not to mention a 15-minutes drive from Jurien Bay Jetty, which offers a stunning view of the Indian Ocean and is ideal for fishing and swimming. Meraki, Family Affair Cafe, and Subway are just a few of the nearby restaurants available near our holiday homes.
Our local recommendations:
- Sandy Cape is a white beach that offers great opportunities for swimming, snorkeling, fishing, and sandboarding.
- Sandy Recreation Park offers 88 beach campsites accessible via 2WD and additional camping spots accessible via 4WD.
- Pinnacles Desert features stunning limestone formations located in Nambung National Park, close to the fishing town of Cervantes.
- Lesueur National Park is a near-circular, flat-topped mesa located 21 km from Jurien Bay, boasting green landscapes, blue skies, and lookouts.
- Lobster Shack Cervantes offers a wide variety of seafood on a spacious deck featuring timber decor and outdoor tables with stunning coastal views.
- Nambung National Park is known for its stunning Pinnacles Desert formations, amazing limestone structures, and spectacular wildflower season.

Other Things to Note:
- Outdoor fire pit is not available now from Oct to March due to the fire ban. Strictly no outside fires in the property.
- Wifi is available
- Pets are allowed by prior notice
- Stand up paddle for rental is $40 per day
- Bbq is gas bottle, please clean up after using it
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- No smoking allowed inside/outside the tiny home
- We have a dog on the property so pets cannot roam freely.
- Expect kids riding on motorbikes surrounding properties on the holidays
- Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas, and clean after your pet’s droppings
- Please clean up after your pet’s shedding before checking out in courtesy of other guests
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Important note:
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
