This cozy ground floor, one bedroom, one bath seasonal rental has been completely remodeled and restyled. The home consists of a spacious living and dining area which includes a built-in coffee bar, a full-sized wine and beverage cooler and a 65” flat-screen TV. The sofa converts to a queen sleeper sofa for your short-term guests. Full-sized washer and dryer units are stacked behind bi-fold doors. The newly remodeled bath features a glass enclosed shower and a quartzite countertop. The L-shaped kitchen features all new cabinets, convection microwave, a two-burner induction cooktop, a full-sized refrigerator/freezer, and an air fryer (no dishwasher or full-size oven). There is a large pantry for your food storage. The bedroom features a DC ceiling fan, a safe, a large window, a king-sized, adjustable bed, and a closet with shelving. You have direct access to the semi-private heated pool from your living room. The pool is surrounded by tall fences and lush tropical foliage for ultimate privacy. Enjoy alfresco dining in the outdoor screened patio equipped with large dining table and chairs with easy access to the outdoor grill. There are two private entrances and parking for two cars.

Even though we don’t really have our own beaches in Osprey, there are plenty close by, like the quartz-crystal sands of Siesta Key Beach and Venice Beach, which is known as the Shark’s Tooth Capital of the World. Right off the mainland, and Osprey, is Casey Key, which features the powdery white sands of Nokomis Beach and North Beach Park, a prime spot for shelling and fishing. Originally settled in the 1860s as a small fishing village (the Osprey You can explore Historic Spanish Point, a museum and environmental complex where visitors can tour a pioneer homestead, museum, a prehistoric shell mound, and a citrus, packing house, plus enjoy lush, gardens and nature trails. The historic Osprey Public Library is also on site. Another historic site is the one-lane Blackburn Point Bridge that crosses over the Intercoastal Waterway. It’s one of the only swing bridges remaining in Florida and is listed on the US National Registry of Historic Places.
The Legacy Trail access is approximately one mile away. Legacy Trail is an 18.5-mile multi-use recreational rail trail that connects Sarasota and Venice. Osprey has a rich history and still exudes an old-Florida vibe that gives its residents a small town feel with city conveniences only minutes away.
