Located in the West Dublin section of Greenport, the house is 1/4 block from Johnson Park, 1/2 block from a lovely Peconic Bay Beach with Children's Playground, Volley Ball Court, Basketball Court and Picnic tables. The House is newly Decorated with Vintage & Mid Century Modern Furniture. Stylish and uncluttered, this renovated 1920’s two-story beach house comes furnished with everything you need to enjoy a carefree beach vacation and not one thing more. i.e. A car is optional, since the house is a five minute walk from the LIRR and Hampton Jitney stations and a seven minute walk from Greenport village. The house has two air-conditioned bedrooms and two baths. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed. The second bedroom has a trundle bed which can be configured as two twin-sized beds or one king-size bed. The library has a day bed. All told, the house sleeps five people comfortably. As for tech amenities, you will find wireless internet, cable TV, and an internet-connected Blu-ray/DVD player which can stream your Netflix and/or Amazon Prime subscriptions. There is a JBL Charge speaker (look it up) which can connect to any device having a headphone jack or bluetooth capability. It is battery operated and extremely portable, so you can take it anywhere in the house. A comfortably furnished outdoor deck overlooks a large, breezy back yard with 100 foot maple trees, a hammock, and peek-a-boo views of the water. The yard is totally fenced. Composting is encouraged. There is also a detached shed (9 feet by 22 feet) with ample room for bikes, kayaks and other outdoor toys. Stylish and carefree, this house is ideal for a summer beach getaway, Vineyard touring year round, golf & biking adventure, or an any time relaxing peaceful getaway in Historic Greenport Village.
